The game pairs 25 vintage telephones with 25 anonymous images from Erik Kessels' collection of vernacular photographs.
The first level of play consists in recreating the pairs, which humorously associate an emblematic telephone with a singular image. In the second stage, more experienced players will play memory games based on image associations. They'll have to turn over two cards and memorize their location to reform the duos and win the game.
An accompanying booklet presents each image and details the technical features of the phones, as well as information on Erik Kessels' work.
